I'm trying to get some ideas about where and how to replace my Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) I've got an 89 Toyota 4X4 Ext cab 3.0 V6. I've gotten the Blink codes, an the error 42 VSS. That's as far as I know to go. Any suggestions as to why it might have failed are also very welcome.
    Thanks

Rock auto has them for @$100 if you cant find one off a junked truck. As stated, it's 20 years old. Things don't last forever, even on a Toyota.
