Ok guys I want to share this I took my brothers HD diesel truck to my little brothers shop so he could install a tuner on it well months after it was done he had to replace the injectors not cheap so he bought new ones from O Riellys and in six months they went bad so my brother read up about it and they said Tuners will mess up your injectors to where they will leak so tomorrow its off with the Tune good thing they replaced the injectors for free well not the labor but that's ok.

I ran a superchips tuner on my Dakota for years. Never had an issue. This is the first time I've heard something like this. I'd like to see what he "read about" since if this were common, many people would be writing about it.

    Could find only one complaint.
Most answers to injectors going bad was bad fuel or water in the fueling system.

IF it were Mine diesel, I would leave the tuner init, install new high performance injectors.
Could the fueling pump be going bad ? sending shards of pump to the injectors ?
If so, a good flushing of every thing fuel related would be good, also, install new high performance fueling plump too, along with them H.P. injectors. That`ll fixum. :woot:

Tuners mess up some trucks, others not. Something I've learned over time. Far less do damage than not, but it does happen and seemingly randomly sometimes. That's bad though. Can't imagine one doing that, and it sure shouldn't. If the tuner is doing that, that's the worst I've heard yet
