Here's a picture of my 82 dually. Work in progress
Was told to grab a coleman.
Picture of my 2002 Silverado 1500.
This is my 88 k1500. Funny story it belonged to my dad a long time ago and he gave it to my older brother who then totaled it and sold it to one of my friends dads. Years later my truck went out and I was in need of a cheap ride for the time being so I contact them and was able to buy it back.
I'll be asking lots of questions about it trying to get it in tip top shape although I'm not completely mechanically inclined I do like to save money so I'll be doing as much as I can on my own. Starting with the lights that refuse to work correctly.
Looks like You must have got all the body work done. Looks very good.
Welcome to the forum Joseph.
Check lights by removing ALL of the grounds, back end of the frame rail, fender wells, engine block and also the cab to engine grounding strap, behind the right side head. A lot of times that ground strap gets disconnected then not hooked back up.
You could re-upholster them or get comfy seat covers. I like the clazzio seat covers as they go over the seats. The more expensive route is to re-upholster with your material or katzkins.
I have an '88 also. Not nearly as nice as your seems to be. Except for the body, I've rebuilt or replaced everything from front to back and top to bottom. Still working out some kinks as I had NO history of the truck and it sat for at least 8 years!
What sort of problems are you having with the lights?
