New plugs and wires tonight, runs way better! Several of the old wires were pinched/rubbed thru/burned. Old plugs looked decent though, no oil deposits, and color looked good...

My cousin is a mechanic and he says a full tune up includes cap and rotor with the plugs and wires

I know, just ran out of time tonight... the wires were the main problem. Just so you know I'm also a mechanic!

Ordered a window switch connector Saturday for the driver's door, will be nice to roll the windows down again...

Also ripped the fabric off the headliner and used a shop vac to suck up the loose foam, might see if I can find an interesting fabric to re-do it. At least I don't have the old fabric hanging down anymore...

Trying to get lockup to work on my trans. It's not playing nice...

Just running a toggle switch for now (truck doesn't have a computer anymore) but just pops fuses... gonna have to double check wiring diagrams at work tomorrow to see if I can figure out what's up...

Still going! Fixing things a little at a time... just replaced the master cylinder and a wheel cylinder...

Finally found the ambition to go digging for the casting numbers on the motor... says "5.7". Sweet!! Also pulled a valve cover to see what heads it has... found world products s/r heads!

Put headers on the truck today! I'm also getting a cam and a better intake. Cam is a Comp Cams with 212/218 duration at .050, on a 110 LSA with .447/.454 lift. Should give a nice boost to the power...
