Well, the 48 wrecked on Lap 148 on Sunday, he was in a must win situation in order to be one of the 4 racing for the Championship this coming Sun. We'll have to wait until next year for "hopefully" an 8th Championship. Yime to start getting those Camaros ready. The 4 drivers battling it out in Homestead are:

Brad Keselowski - #2 Penske Ford
Kevin Harvick - #4 Steward Haas Ford
Kyle Busch - #18 Joe Gibbs Toyota
Martin Truex - #78 Furniture Row Racing Toyota

    WHAT...... NO CHEVYS.......??!!!!!!

I've said since mid season that unless something drastic happens, Truex will be the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Champion. He's in the final 4 now all he has to do in finish in front of the other 3 drivers..............

When dale sr died I gave up nascar, he was a true race driver, and pushed it to the limits.

@poncho62 I hear that. I was hoping he'd make it too. I am glad he took Hamlin out of it as well.

@dirtrider73068 I did miss seeing the Intimidator on the track. I wasn't a Earnhardt "Fan" by any means, but I did love watching him drive. My wife bought me a really awesome picture of him years ago that will be hanging in my garage soon. I'm sure you may have seen it. It's a still shot of the Grand Stand and wall that reads Daytona in the back ground, his car passed by on the pit lane as the photo was taken so it looks like a ghost car.

    It's pretty similar to this:

It was just more straight on with the lettering on the wall.

Yup, blew and right front tire and slammed the wall on lap 148. That ended his day an any chance of racing for the Cup. I think he finished 39th .......?

I don't know much about what's going on in the NFL these days.

Like I said before, "I'm done with it."

I'm sure that this is all blown over and probably a thing of the past. I've been known to hold a grudge and after the things I've seen and the Brothers I've lost..........

    "F@(K FOOTBALL & THE NFL!!"

Too little too late in my eyes, the damage has been done.

I agree with Dirt, they lost something when Dale Sr. died. Just not the same anymore and like the NFL Patriots, getting tired of seeing the 48 car win all the time.
