    I might plan on passing on it, thanks for informing me about the electric carb problems. Sounds like it will take some money to get it running good. I will keep an eye out for an older truck.

    I don't think this guy will let it go for that much, but I can make the offer. I might try to find an 84 and older with no electric carb. I plan on fixing it up and driving it around.

    My old man bought a 78 C30 brand new back in the day. At some point when the carb went t!t$ up he just replaced it with a Holley, instead of rebuilding it. He always hated the Rodchester carbs and called them "Qudra-junks." :rofl:

    Where I'm at a rig like that would sell for a pretty penny. I'd think it wouldn't be bad to pick it up and get a bolt on replacement carb.
