How do I remove the oil bypass valve?

    Ok, so this is the little do-dad underneath the oil filter. Took off the 15mm hex bolt, and its kinda supposed to pull out with some help. Well it did not get the memo!

    Its a little chewed up. But still in good shape...

    Figures it. Found a picture which led to a video in the Corvette section. They use a 3/8 x 16 bolt. I guess those speed boys make a bypass kit for the bypass...lean something knew everyday!
