all fan speeds work but don't seem as strong as they used to be, especially on high or low. since they work is there a way to test blower motor to see if it needs replaced, thanks.

I was gonna it could be the evap coils have junk stuck to them, like this leaves or whatever it may be the fan can suck into it. Most times just reaching in there and removing the junk by hand will work and help, they do have I think special cleaner for this like house hold ac unit called coil cleaner. You spray it on let it sit then wash it off, but before you squirt water in there make sure your drain is clear and is open or could fill up the ac box adn overflow into the cab on the floor.

On these trucks to get the blower motor out is not as easy as his shows it can be a major PIA, you have to fandangle it out and fight with it some case you have to carefully squeeze on the fan cage to get out, just go easy as the cage could be brittle from the heat. Just take your time in removing the blower motor. Also check on top at the bottom of the windshield there is a screen there as well to help keep leaves and debri being sucked in by the fan it could also be covered up.

dr found this spray that one could use on home units at Home Depot I would say one could use it on our trucks since your going to rinse it off with a water hose and the spray isn’t that much and it does clean good.

Might test the resistor....?? If resistor is getting old wore..might take 12 volt straight to the motor hot bypass resistor see if it blows more.
