Cool I learned something thanks Mr. Leo
Me. Leo I’m wondering not that I’m going to buy one but would one have to have a big air compressor for this vacuum pump to work my Sears compressor is just a 30 gallon vertical compressor with a motor that you don’t even have to add oil to the motor?
And I read on a review that ones compressor has to be able to reach 200 psi
I’m going to check if my compressor is on this list so if someone else has one like in this video get it repaired.
DOn't think it will keep up I had a 20 gallon direct drive compressor when I tried it and it couldn't keep up, would pull vacuum but not deep enough to boil the moisture out. You can try it since you have a 30 gallon.
Guys I bought a kit that came with different size Schrader valves and caps well it didn’t come with a schrader valve that would fit the 134 adapter so today while at Wally World I bought a retro fit kit that comes with what I needed so I just used it and I’m good to go now no more Freon leaking I charged up the A/C so I’m good now to drive to Hawaii in air conditioning tomorrow.
I’m going to return the other stuff I bought at Advance auto parts except the Schrader valve tool.
Well guys my A/C has been doing super good in this Texas heat now compare to where some of guys live we have been having warm temps next week it’s going to cool down a bit which for you guys north of Houston it’s going to be cold.
The Venturi pumps take a heckuva lot of air and they will not pull a hard enough vacuum to boil off any water in the system.
