1986 Chevy Truck Clock Needles

    Hello Everyone, I have to clocks for my truck, one works but needles are broke and the other one don't work but has good needles. Can anyone tell me how the (second hand needle) is taken off of the clock.Thank's

    judging from the looks the three hands pull off and are keyed so they only fit in one position.

    Thank's greencamaro1981, I have pulled pretty hard on the second hand and it just don't want to come out. I should say my truck is a 1986 Chevy square body, don't know if different models come off different or not. I will try and pull a little harder, I have done searches everywhere on the web but can't find anyone that has done this. thank's again!!

    ok then I bet there is a pin on the shaft for the second hand, for this you will need to dsassemble most of the clock to get to it

    I though this weekend I would take the back off the clock that is not working and look around in there to see if there is a pin or maybe a small clip holding the second hand. It sure is not going to hurt it because its not working now!!! This must be something that none of the 1000s of members on here have ever done!! Thank's again greencamaro1981

    Thanks for the reply, I did get mine fixed after taking the back off and cleaning good and oiling it up. Running fine!!! No videos on you tube.
