i dont see why not. slick lookin to say the least, just not my cup of tea. to answer your question from the PM, that is all your decision. i have tried the switcharo thing and broke even. sometimes it pays off to stay with what you know works as yhe shape of the new ones may cause headches later down the road.

Hi ya, I got truck back today and it seems ok for the short drive home.they claimed there was a internal short in the bcm. However they would not commit to say this was the problem, leading me to believe this was a educated guess. The bcm was my thought when i originally took it in. So i guess I will drive and wait and see.

thanks newest info today is there were codes that it had multiple communication failures so they were instructed by gmc to start checking individual modules and connecting wiring.I am on my way to see if they actually pulled it in shop.I am at tier 2 of customer service.

I would call the 1-800 number in your owners manuel it's nothing to mess around with also save all your paper work that you have taken it in because you just might have to look into the lemon law. I had a truck once that it was giving me ton's of trouble till I told them I don't want the truck so the owner put me in another truck and gave me a super deal. Don't forget to write down the reps name that you talk to even have them sent you a letter on this problem remember your paying a good amount of money for your truck each month and you didn't buy junk write down everything in time you might forget what they said or what they told you. A dealership can even get you if you don't show them all of you receipts that you bought for your oil changes there snakes watch them. Write back if you need anymore help and keep me up-dated.
      Good luck! Roland/GMC
